If the History Channel, and Discovery Channel are to be believed,
the Genetic Eve lived about 120,000 -140,000 yrs. ago.
The Genetic Adam, somewhere around 80,000 - 100,000 yrs.
Ironically the closest living groups of people to each are still
found in Africa.
Guess we really are all reated, Huh?

Here's the part that I don't get: Why do we believe that some guy climbed a mountain and a few days later or so he had the history of the world? Um, as you can tell I'm not religous, so I don't really have the right answers. I want to know who saw Adam and Eve in person and knows for sure they actually existed. Did they even have different races then? Who knows? It's like asking how many stars are in our galaxy...

I think there is some evidence in scripture that Adam was not Human. I draw this assumption from the first 2 chapters of Genesis.

The Creation story says animals and birds were created and then human beings.

The Story of the gardens says Adam was created, and then animals and birds were created to be his partners. When none of the animals proved to be a good partner, God created Eve.

So, Adam was created before human beings. I think he was actually a simple one celled organism.

I think the real question for people that think Adam was a fully formed male human is "What were his genitalia for?". You know what I mean. Because God created all the animals to be his companions before he decided to create Eve.

Also, if we are all descendants of the same original parents, why don't we all look like Prince Albert? You know. All inbred and stuff.

The race and color of Adam and Eve is irrelevant. They were the first of the humans, so in truth all colors and races came from them, they are either the absence or mixed blend.

Adam and Eve were created some where around central Africa (Africa is a Coptic word that means birthplace of humanity) they were African or black. Scientists now admit this to be true in order to get the different races around the world, it could not have happened any other way.

I guess that shows that maybe that theory is not right hey. Makes more sense that we evolved from the neanderthal and in different parts of the world we evolved with different shades of skin to match the conditions we were in. So the answer would be that Adam and Eve are just a fairytale explanation of how life began.

Wow you are basically asking for an explanation of the entire history of the Earth. My understanding is that it began with Adam and Eve, but remember God destroyed the population with the flood, Noah and his family being the only survivors. When they procreated and spread to different lands their bodies adapted to climate change (became darker, lighter etc). They also developed different languages, customs, traditions etc. over the centuries. I don't claim to understand it all, I don't know anyone but God who could.

Well the bible doesn't say specifically, but it does say that they were created in the image of God. If we take into account the traditions of most Christians as well as the various paintings of Jesus Christ, etc., we can pretty well assume that they were all white. As for the whole black/white thing nowadays, if you look in genesis ch. 4 it says that when Cain killed Abel God put a mark on him so that everyone would know not to associate with him. Assuming that he was white beforehand, the mark made him black. That's just my own personal belief.
