I seen a question like this on before but couldnt work out the definative answer from peoples answers they gave. I would like to know on the penis is it normal for the foreskin when ur penis is erect to stay down over the head until you pull it back and when its pulled back is it normal for it to just fall back down over the head again ?. It confuses me as to wether this is normal or not. Anyone that can comment please do, thanks.

Basically, if that is what always happens to you, then yes it is completely normal - for you.
It is when there is a change to what usually happens you need to think about, or when it causes you pain.

Having sampled quite a few over the years I know that they are all different, just like the men on the other end of then. Stop stressing yourself, OK?

foreskin in it's normal state covers the head of the penis completely or almost completely. However when one gets erect the foreskin on many men will retract at least partly. For some however it will retract fully and for others there is no noticable retraction. It depends primaruily on the amount of foreskin the man has as to whether or not it retracts and how much.

Of course guys with tight foreskin do have to work at stretching their s out in order to achieve retraction.

Oh, a man and his penis. Normal, not normal. Too big, too small. Too long, too short.

Humans are all different. If you have a longer and less tight foreskin it will stay forward and not retract permanently during erection. Consider yourself blessed, that you even have one. Many American men don't and there isn't any reason not to, except for keeping clean (which most guys have enough sense to do...)

Anyway, some guys have a tighter one and it stays back. If you have a "n" shaped erection, it will go back down due to gravity.

the foreskin is too thight and that is why it stays there until you pull it down or your penis is lubricated...some people get an op to cut a little portion of the skin so that the foreskin goes past the helmet when u r fully erected...i've got my foreskin thight and don't have any probs when it comes to get a full erection...it only become a problem if it hurts, then the op should b considered...

Anything is normal as long as there is no pain involved, if it is painful to have it back then there's something that needs attended to.

Of ocurse it's normal.

Just have a look at some "naughty " web sites and you will see plenty like that, in fact many people think they look better that way than the american "circumcised" look. Especially gays who go mad for that type of long foreskin look. Don't let that put you off though.

No that's perfectly normal. As long as it's working for you and not causing pain or discomfort it's normal. Foreskins come in many sizes, so shorter foreskins will automatically retract either partway or entirely upon erection while longer foreskins tend not to. And many foreskins return to their "normal" positions automatically depending on how it's handled.

yes it is quite normal you should only worry if you have problems retracting it back over the head of the penis.
or if it is pain full to pull the foreskin back, as this could be a sign of infection

well, everyone has a different penis and each has different sized and shaped foreskin. so , no its not abnormal for this to be happeneing at all. sometimes it comes back and sometimes it doesnt..it also depends on how erect you are too. i wouldnt worry about it, it seems normal to me. if it does start hurting at all when being pulled back or anything speak to a doctor!

From reading your question it sounds like you are normal-some foreskins retract upon erection, others don't.If you're experiencing any pain or discomfort when you have an erection and/or pull back your foreskin, then see your GP about it.

There's no normal, only average. Some guys have a lot more skin than others & it's tighter on some & looser on others. The important thing is that it all works OK, is kept clean & gives you the right sort of pleasure.
