Wow, it's so refreshing to actually see a question from a Mets fan who's actually gotten over it. I'm with ya 100%. I actually got over it about two hours after the Mets lost. I figure that they'll kick even more serious *** next year and it's best to just look ahead to the next season (can't wait for it :) ). The Mets have come far this season with all the unfortunate injuries they had and I'm damn proud of them Flushing Boys). Yeah!!!

I'm a Mets fan from way back (Tom Seaver era), and I thought Game 7 was a great game.
You can't ask for anything more than a 7th game going into the 9th inning all tied up, and then the home team loading the bases in the bottom of the 9th inning, two outs, and their best hitter at the plate. Beltran didn't come through, but that happens sometimes.
I think it's funny when fans of flash-in-the-pan teams like the Tigers say that the New York teams are trying to 'buy' a championship, and igore how their Tigers acquired players like Ivan Rodriguez and Kenny Rogers...
The Tigers and Cardinals deserve all the credit in the world for getting where they got...they had to beat the highly touted New York teams in the playoffs (then the Tigers had to beat an underrated A's team in the ALCS)...
Of course, White Sox fans last year were all talk, as well they should be, but where were the White Sox THIS year? And of course, we'll be asking the same thing about the Tigers NEXT year....
But the Cards and Tigers both deserve to be in the World Series... I hope it's a good series, but it's looking like the Tigers might win easily... I'd love to see it go seven, I don't really care who wins, but I don't think it'll get that far.
Good luck to both teams! Game 1 tonight!

the internet result replaced into more advantageous for the Yankees. Time is operating short for them. they could properly be carried out with yet another loss in the subsequent 2 video games. for sure, if the Yankees do no longer make it to the playoffs they could cancel the put up season completely. I advise, they are entitled to be there, accurate? The Mets are literally not hurting so undesirable in the standings, notwithstanding it replaced right into a common recreation for them. the first 0.5 of the game they do a touch hitting and do not enable a lot scoring. The the B team takes over with the opposite happening. similar gamers on the field, yet completely diverse action. dropping this recreation might want to weigh down their collective psyches

Cardinals did the same thing the Mets did in '73 by getting good pitching when they needed it. They both reached the World Series with the unimpressive total of 83 regular season victories. That Mets team took a powerhouse Oakland A's team to a 7th game. Hope we get the same here.

It was rather odd to see the Cards celebrating without the cheering from the crowd like when Ordonez won game 4 for the Tigers against Oakland last week.

Im from Detroit and I really don't care who lost or won the NLCS cause we would destroy either of them. Sorry the Mets didn't make it to the beat down in the WS, oh well, guess we'll have to give it to St. Louis
