Wear black closed-toe heels with grey sheer stockings. It's a classy, dressy look.
Carry a small black purse.
White or Beige (depending on what looks best with your skin tone) or Red (power color) blouse is best.
Silver jewelry looks sharp with black. If it's sort of a business-like luncheon, keep the jewelry fairly small . Try to wear one striking piece--a bracelet, ring, necklace, OR pin--and no more than three pieces total.
You'll look great!

LUckily with black you can do black from head to toe. But I would definetly get a blouse with some kind of color to contrast the heels. Open or closed heels would be okay. It also depends if you wear a skirt or pants.... But I think it would be okay. But also you can find a color that coordinates with the shirt, but in most cases you're gonna find a closed toe in more colors, because there's a lot of open toes that have a high heel that are more clubby looking, but honey with black you can't go wrong.

Def okay to wear open toe high heels. The color shoes should be the same as the shirt you are wearing under your suit jacket.

Isn't the rule of thumb for open-toed shoes related to your location? I mean, open-toed shoes here in Michigan (for either gender) look pretty silly after our first snow fall (yes, we had that already). However, if you're in southern California, they might always be in fashion?
Go to a place near you where the women dress in black suit, etc. They'll show you the way.

Open toe shoes and sandals are year round fashions. With a black suit, you need black or as a 2nd choice nude/beige. Congrats.

classic pumps would be better. if it's an all over black suit, try incorporating a black and white plaid shoe, or an alligator leather. congrats on the luncheon!

howdy honey, are you particular what job you're using for there, for particular? I worked at a porn shop, and except you wrote "sales associate" interior the wanted place(no pun meant) section, you would be able to correctly be interviewing for a job cleansing the viewing cubicles, and if so, open toe shoes may be a wellbeing threat. seem, the final factor any person needs while venturing out to the porn shop after hour of darkness is somebody at the back of the counter who assumes something approximately human sexuality, so forego the stripper shoes and handle this job with the honor it merits, gown accurately. go there sparkling, expert, and sensible, no open toe heels.
