I am afraid to get another test becuase I want to be pregnant and I don't want to be dissappointed. I also have symptoms such as sore nipples, constipation, cramps, muscles craps in my legs. I think I am 4 to 5 wks.

Yes, it is probably positive. I took one and it read very faintly positive. Three days later went to the doc for a test. 9 months later.....baby boy.

the first line should be lighter than the second- if this is the case then you are. As long as you read the test within 10 minutes of administering it. the second line registers because the test worked. The more HCG (pregnancy hormone) you have in your system the darker the first line will be. I'm willing to bet you conceived in the last 2-3 weeks. Congrats

yes your pregnant EVEN THE BOX SAYS one line may be lighter then the other read the box. CALL YOUR DOCTOR tell them you have a + test they will tell you what o do next. CONGRATS....with all 4 of of my pregnancies the line was very light the line will get darker every few days if you re test as your hormones go up when you test early the test line will be light.

a pregnant line is a pregnant line, no matter how faint. so If you saw the control line, and then saw a second faint line then you are pregnant! If you did not see any line then the test didn't work (expired or something), if you only saw one line then you are not pregnant. Wait another few days and take the test with your FMU or go to the dr and have them do a blood test.

Well it usually means yes you are pregnant, but the test might have been defective if it was coloured lightly, i would get another test or go to the doctors to make sure, i know what you are saying aout being disappointed but, you need to know the truth.... its not healthy for you to go on making yourself believe you are pregnant and your not.... get it done, that way if you are pregnant, you can take the right steps forward in getting the ultrasound done to make sure everything is good with the baby, and that way you can start taking prenatal vitamins etc.... most pregnacy tests are hell to decifer. if there is even a faint line (usually pink), then it is a positive. what type of test did you use? there should be an (800) number on it, which you could call. they can tell you what you need to know. also, if you test to early, you could get a negative or very faint lines. you could wait a couple days and test again. good luck and i hope your not disappointed with the results!

Congratulations, mommy!!! Call your dr to have a blood test performed (she may do it anyway), or take another test in a few more days. Generally, though, if there is even a faint mark in the positive side, it's a yes.

You bet it does! In the fine print on the test, even a light pink line counts! If you want to take a second one to be sure! With both of my kids I took two, just to make sure I knew that I peed on the stick right :)

Yes!! Most of the time the 2nd line is a lighter color. If you would feel better then take another test and see what it says. But I bet it will be positive too.
