Has anybody here been to Disneyland since they started their HalloweenTime special at the end of Sept? Does it also include trick or treating for the kids like they did in past years? Is it only certain hours? Thanks!

My parents just went for their anniversary. They said the only difference was that the Disney characters were in costumes...there was pumpkins and halloween decorations everywhere...ahhh lots of attention given to the haunted mansion. Etc. If you wanted to know more specifics you can email me a question and I will ask my parents whatever you would like to know. They were just there. Hope that helps!

Trick or Treating is basically sold out for the kids, but it is still worth a visit. The park is very festive, not scary at all. Fireworks are great and they have rides that are Halloween themed as well. If you want to just do a Halloween visit, hit Tower of Terror at California Adventure, then Pirates at D-land, then Haunted Mansion. There is also a special area at Woody's round-up for kids to decorate cookies and stuff. Enjoy!!

The trick-or-treating is a special event, some evenings at California Adventure, last I checked, most nights were sold out . (but check out their website, www.disneyland.com )
otherwise, the Disneyland park is decorated for halloween with a lot of pumpkins down main street, and haunted mansion modified as nightmare before Christmas. Some of the other rides may be modified slightly too.
