Several times. Also the Magna Carta and the Bible, and now I know where Monty Python got their ideas.
The Constitution is like the Bible, a lot of people claim to be acting in accordance with them who have never read them. Often it's the same people.

Of course, silly! A great many people have read the Constitution of the United States of America. I only wish more people would.

yes and its a shame most people have not, its like a comment i heard on the news today, 90% of the population can't name more than 5 govenors or senetors, but can tell you every single contestant in the finals from american idol, i hate when people complain about the country but really know nothing of its history or what this country was born upon, it doesnt matter if your republican democrat or whatever, shut the hell up if you don't really understand this countrys' history or government. Too many people get there resources from the Daily Show, sad really sad.

Like Duh, of course. Does anyone other than me know that September 17th is Constitution Day and schools are mandated to spend that day with an emphasis on teaching the Constitution. Read it, loved it. Geez, of course someone other than you has read the Constitution.

I was going to read it, but I have decided to have myself adopted by a rich family with political clout. I'm told they can buy me a governorship in some state. don't know which one, but who cares. They have conections and say I can even be President some day. The know some people that know some people that can fix elections.
So you see, I have way too busy to read all them words. Maybe I can get my soon to be people to do it for me.

Uh, I did. So did the current members of the Supreme Court - it's just that several of them choose to ignore the parts they don't like.

Yes, I would imagine quite a few of us have. And some of us are getting a bit tired of being talked down to.
You?
