I hear that solid Hickory hardwood floors are really strong and durable. But I also hear that they are "move" a lot (expand and shrink). Is the movement really that big of a deal, or is that stuff exaggerated?

Hickory hardwood floors have been around for hundreds of year, so I figure they must be excellent floors. And I really like the look of them.

Yes they are very resilient,easy to care for. They have a rich grain and are different than most wood floors.If you are interested in these floors being there a long time, some have lasted centuries. Make sure you buy true aged hickory.

Yea, everything she said..and they also smell good too!!! They have this smell that takes you back to visiting a settler village and that!!!
