The ancient city of Petra (where they filmed part of Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade) is breathtaking. Look for pictures on the Internet of it. So is Aqaba. It's a beautiful city and has an interesting history because, though all the military experts of the time said it couldn't be done, (T.E.)Lawrence of Arabia and his band of mercenaries, took it from the Turks. You also need to mention Queen Noor, (formerly, Lisa Haselby) an American, who was married to King Hussein of Jordan, and had 4 children with him. Jordan is a place of peace and stability in the Middle East.
