i don't like this new browser that came out 5 years ago. How do i go back to internet explorer 4.0? I am running XP professional.

I think you are very keen osf being hacked. If you don't like IE 6, you can change over to Firefox(www.mozilla.com). Its popularity is increasing day by day due to its speed and low space usage. But don't delete IE 6 after you get it, don't make Firefox as the default browser, either. Just use it. You will love it. Don't go back to that perhistoric IE 4. I dunno what you liked about it.

If you revert to IE4 you are more likely to be 'hacked' because of many the security problems inherent in that version. More importantly, your Yahoo e-mail can be read by any one who looks at your temporary internet files folder - they can just click on 'read letter' and there it is!

if go back to IE 4 you will be open to attacks because they dont update it any longer.try new IE 7 or go with firefox.

if ur running XP pro... download IE7, it is now available... but only for those with genuine windows copy. :)
