They have better defense this season, but only the Naslund-Sedins line is able to score goals. What happened to Brendan Morrison?

well i think the canucks were a little slow in acquiring some really notable free agents in the off season to try to bolster there offence....they did well in the back end acquiring Luongo, Mitchell and Krajicek but with Carter and Bertuzzi now out they really didnt make any so called improvements up front...other than signing Bulis they really didnt make any efforts to improve the offence but with their salary cap tight after Luongo's new contract and Mitchell it seemed that wasn't going to happen...heck they couldnt agree to terms with Anson Carter so that should have been an indication that this years team was not going to be offensive minded...Vigneault was placed to bring in a new defensive style of system in this new NHL so that should also should have been a sign that the Canucks were not going out to spend the money for a high priced offensive scorer.

Me being a Canucks fan too I think they need to break the Naslund-Sedins line cus it seems like Morrison need Naslund on his line. They can put Kesler with the Sedins. Hope they try it for a few games.

Trevor Linden is a great %.. My popular Vancouver Canuck isn't a participant; it extremely is their former power and conditioning coach Peter Twist. I credit him with getting me into the UHL. yet as quickly as I had to go with a participant, it may be Pavel Bure, the Russian Rocket. every physique undergo in ideas that breakaway he had against Toronto interior the 'ninety 3 convention Finals the place he Blue Bayou'd the Leafs d-men and made Felix Potvin look like a lager leaguer? great flow! Or his breakaway in Boston in 'ninety 9 the place he dropped the %. into his skates then kicked it lower back to his stick and scored? He had great hands, and drove a Ferrari, very suitable, i presumed.

I believe the loss of Todd Bertuzzi and Anson Carter is a pretty good one. I do believe that Vancouver has a better team this year and a more competetive one than last season. However there are a lot of improved teams this season...look at Minnesota...Anaheim, San Jose and Dallas...some great hockey in the Western Divison.
