its sexy! i have made fun of it before, but my friends started it cuz i had a cup of tea and a banana for breakfast and they were all "it sounds british! 'a spot of tea and a bah-nah-nah'." but don't blame us. it was 8:00 on a monday morning n we have a PE teacher who enjoys torturing us. we were going 2 have 2 run d mile.

I am not sure what people that you are referring to, but most Americans like the British accent. Some accents generally make you sound stupid, but that is one that to me connotes intelligence.
