It gave me warm fuzzies when Josh Gracin sang this on American Idol.
Edwin McCain
I'll Be
The strands in your eyes that color them wonderful
Stop me and steal my breath
Emeralds from mountains thrust toward the sky
Never revealing their depth
Tell me that we belong together
Dress it up with the trappings of love
I'll be captivated
I'll hang from your lips
Instead of the gallows of heartache that hang from above
(Chorus:)
I'll be your crying shoulder
I'll be love suicide
I'll be better when I'm older
I'll be the greatest fan of your life
Rain falls angry on the tin roof
As we lie awake in my bed
You're my survival, you're my living proof
My love is alive not dead
Tell me that we belong together
Dress it up with the trappings of love
I'll be captivated I'll hang from your lips
Instead of the gallows of heartache, that hang from above
(Chorus)
I've been dropped out, burned up, fought my way back from the dead
Tuned in, turned on, Remembered the things that you said

good question :o)
Air Supply songs - the break up CD so to speak.. greatest hits to be exact..
TLC ~ Unpretty (hahah ahahaha)
Morrissey ~ Sing Me to Sleep
ok and this one is really embarrassing ~
Shakira Underneath Your Clothes..
oh and Sheryl Crow ~ If It Makes You Happy
I would say the best songs are those that make you cry and give you the warm fuzzies.. they just hit you everywhere inside~
I always cry over everything - even commercials.. my boyfriend laughs at me all of the time. I can't get through one Extreme Home Makeover show without crying.. can anyone though? :o)
Oh and I just can't be let loose in the Hallmark card section.. haha
Too many songs give me the warm fuzzies but most of these also can or have made me cry which is why they are some of the best songs ever written ~
Blindside ~ Silence..
Jeff Buckley ~ Last Goodbye
James Blunt ~ Goodbye My Lover & You're Beautiful
Simon & Garfunkel ~ Only Living Boy in NY (me & my dads song)
Fuel ~ Hemorrhage hmm what else..
Lynard Skynard ~ Simple Man ( and the original singers)
Nine Inch Nails ~ Hurt
Hoobastank ~ First of Me
any Tracey Chapman songs... most Sarah Maclachlan
Sia ~ Breathe Me ** one of the best songs ever**
U2 ~ One
Andrea Bocelli ~ Time to Say Goodbye
Josh Grobin ~ You Raise Me Up (is that one embarrassing?)
.. I could go on and on but I did already so I will stop now.. :o)

Honestly, anything by the Mammas and the Pappas. They are a full generation older than me (I'm 30), but there's just something about California Dreamin' that makes me tear up. I suffer from periodic depression, and this song really hits home...
And "I Saw Her Again Last Night", and "Dream a Little Dream" just are warm and fuzzy everywhere... The first is a reminder of when my hubby and I first were dating. The latter is just so sweet!

Happiest, My Marriage and my children.
Most embarrassing is when....My brother, and a couple of my older relatives were over my house one Sunday afternoon, When I was a kid my father was always taking pictures of the whole family with his movie camera, my aunt ask me if I still had the reels of film that my father had taking of all of us years ago, I said , Sure, I got the old projector out, shut the lights down, ..and turn on the projector,.... well, the film started rolling and all of a sudden there's some guy slamming some girl doggy style, slamming away, sound and all... it was an old porno movie that was put in with my fathers family pictures," Oh Jesus!" I said, I got so nervous and tried to shut it off , and it went on fast speed , I jump off the chair and ran over and pull the plug out of the wall,
Well," I'm telling you, I could have just died, ....there I seriously thought we were going see some nice family pictures, but know...my poor old Aunts just about fell off their chairs, and with that, my "Miss Goody Two Shoes" reputation went on the window I couldn't believe I made such a stupid mistake.....

"They've Only Just Begun", by The Carpenters. It was playing on the drugstore's loudspeakers and I had to get the H*** outta there, because my eyes were watering up and I'm sure my face was all red. I actually have a list of about 20 songs that make me cry WHEREVER I AM. How embarrassing is that?!?! Ugh!!

Christmas shoes- it's a song about a little boy standing in line at the shoe store, trying to buy his dying mother a pair of shoes with a handful of pennies.

Ooh I cry over songs all the time, I'm not actually going to post it on here, but sometimes I hear a dead relative's favorite song or something, and that really makes me cry. And sometimes I listen to really depressing music, and I just start crying lol. T_T

I am not proud to admit this. I love 80's Hair Bands but for some reason, "Cliene Dion - My Heart Will Go On" from Titanic gets me! Damn that is wimpy!

The song American Trilogy by Elvis Presley absolutely moves me to the depth of my soul. "Hush little baby don't you cry......you know you're Daddy's bound to die. All my troubles Lord now forgotten"
Nobody and I mean nobody ever came close to doing this number as well as Elvis did. In fact I would go so far to say it was Elvis' best performance ever.
