I am constantly putting on chapstick as I can't stand having my lips even the slightest bit dry. The problem is, when I put on a long-lasting lipstick, my lips become sooo dry. I'm getting married in a couple weeks and need any suggestions how to make it through the day with gorgeous lips...without the dryness. Any suggestions?

Keep in mind I'll be kissing and eating and drinking...any ideas on making sure it won't come off if I use a gloss?

most long lasting lipstick dont have moisturizers in them. Pick on that has it and that will be your best bet. Most companies have different kinds so check out your local store or cosmetics counter.

I say give up the chapstick. I have said for so long that these things are designed to make your lips moist for a short time then dry eventually. The only people I know who need chapstick are the ones who use chapsticks! Vaseline applied sparingly if you can stand the taste.

Just put a moisturizing clear lip gloss on over your lipstick. I've found that it helps a lot.

well, the lipstick you are using might be drying up because it is too old...id invest in a new one(especially for the wedding) that is very creamy and moisturising...it'll last all day, and the creamy texture means it wont dry up. you could also use some lip gloss: it'll add shine, and if you use one that last long, it'll make sure the lipstick doesn't rub off or crack up! :D

I have yet to find a long-lasting lipstick that isn't dry. Maybe try adding something over or underneath the long-lasting one to ease the dryness.

Best way to get rid of dry lips is to apply a petroleum jelly (vaseline) before applying lipstick.........
To make ur lips softer & smoother apply vaseline at night & in the morning while u brush gently brush ur lips & remove the dead cells on ur lips...

use lip gloss honey.... they have a lot of flavors too... just chose it
or nowadays there are lot of lipsticks on the market which contain moisturiser.....like revlon or maybelline

bye liquidlips. put it under and over your lipstick. it will keep the moist.
