I realize that any feelings of satisfaction I might have are going to be temporary. Whatever goal I set for myself will never be enough. Humans are literally insatiable, so no achievement of success in a goal or anything else could possibly be.
The only true success can come when (if) I ever manage to rid myself of the need for goals. If I stop focusing on the ends, I can take pleasure in the means of life, in making sure that I live the best way I can and let whatever turns out at the end of my journey be damned. I need to learn how to live my life well intrinsically, without relying on consequences to justify myself but instead on the inherent morality of my life.
I'm far from giving up goals, since we are taught from infancy on that we have to get that grade, that job, that house, that cruise, that fantasy, that goal, and it's hard to fight against such an upbringing. But I'll know the first feelings of lasting contentment when I do. If I do.

In order to reach success you must have a goal. Then success becomes attainable. I believe success is the feeling you have inside when you have reached that goal. Wheather after achieving the goal you feel bad or good it's still success.

Success is when you reach the foundation and level you strived to reach. Success is when you have the job, the money, the know how to manage your life, being able to do these things alone without depending on another to help you. That to me is success.

Success is achievement of goals that we set for our self. By setting goals for our self, then working to make those goals become our reality, we achieve our own success.

success means fulfillment of your cherished dreams, ambitions and getting a feeling of happiness(contentment)
look..when one goal is achieved you are happy and u know u were successful in that..but we are humans.so we keep on desiring for more.It is really non-ending.But there is nothing wrong in desiring for more. That is the game of life and we enjoy that.Whats actually wrong is breaking down when a goal is not achieved.

Enlightenment. You know when you've achieved it when helping other people is one of the main goals of your life and money is not of importance to you.
