This website allows you to search for a domain name. Type in anything you want in the search bar and it will tell you if it’s available. It will also give you the chance to purchase the one you want. Also, you will have choices on how you would like your website set up. You can purchase different packages.

What publisher? Are you using an FTP? Are you using Dreamweaver or Frontpage? Are your pages saved like you want them? If you are using Dreamweaver you can connect to the remote server by typing in the web address, once connected to the site you click the ^ (up arrow- (blue) to put files. Look in the remote view to make sure the files are where you want them and then disconnect. Frontpage is basically the same way, click publish to internet, but first the site must be ready to accept Front Page extensions. If the option is available! Type in your web address in the box and then your password. The files should transfer automatically. FTP is most likely manually, like Trelix or freeservers. Hoep this helps!

There are 3 ingredients to a web page of your own...
1) The information you want to put on it
2) The Domain name (some are free but a .com has to be purchased (I use Domain Registry)
3) Someplaces give you some free space but you need to know 'where' you want to upload it to (you should already have some kind of account).
4) well then you need a FTP (file transfer protocol)... I personally use Notepad - just because I'm not good at web page design..... but you have to have a way to 'transfer' your file to the internet.
