Honestly everyone competes against white men. everyone is critical. Statements like "white men commit more suicides" "they cant handle the pressure" "white men cant dance" "white men are ugly" All this may be true, but its not the point. The point is women and poeple of color choose to point this out not help but just to bash. Bashing usually mean an inferiorty complex. Are minorties really still scared of the "BIG BAD WHITE MAN" ? Its time to get over it. Is this complex really doing any of you any good? White men will always be here and for the seeable future will still be cosmetically the "ruling race". White isnt a race. If you really look at it minorities and the oppressed shouldnt hate "white poeple" they should hate "rich poeple" The rich regardless of colour are a race unto themselves.

The majority of the answers already show how parnoid the majority of the respondents are. Let say white men are inferior, why on earth do people who are not white get off on stating this fact. If your so superior you shouldnt have to state it in a forum like yahoo answers it should be self evident. Alot of women and minorities are still obviously shook by the percieved authority of the "white man" you should really get over and take control of your own life. I see nothing wrong with disliking anyone for whatever reason you choose. However if you talk about those poeple you dislike, it goes beyond hate and is really fear. Why do you fear the "White man"?

Then there answers that say I ask the question because I am afraid. Fear usually keeps people from asking questions. The question states no hate against any race or implies any one is inferior based on gender or ethnic background yet still I am answered with name calling and Psycho analysis. Any thing to try to take away from me an assume attitude that I think I am superior based on race. This is not the case, less in less in racial dynamics are we dealing with white people who have problems. Now we have hostility from minorities to whites particularly white men because minorities cant get over the own feeling of inferiority and that manifest against the white man. Your fear justifies every white supremacist attitude. It shows them (white supremacist) that they still have power over you.

i just thought the same thing...the word "Cracker" seems to be acceptable, but "other" racial slurs (ya know what i mean) are "Off limits" WHY?!?!?!?!?!?!

I don't hear many people bashing white men. The people I do hear complaining about white people are black people who grew up in the Jim-crow era. I think if you where black and grew up in the jim-crow era you would bash white people as well. Now a days, we just make fun of white people or whatever racial difference people may have ( white, black, asian, etc). However, You sound a little angry! I don't know who you grew up around but you need to calm down because it is not that serious!

I have not witnessed any of this here, and I think you're blowing it way out of proportion, just calm down. And where did the word "Cracker" come from as a racial slur to white people?, it doesn't even have much merit like other racial slurs do. I think white people probably just came up with it themselves.
