Look for a round cap on the top of the engine that usually will say oil or may say 710 (if it is being read upside down) that is where you add oil!
You could go to any shop and ask if they can help you by showing you where it is. If a woman asks nicely, most mechanics will be happy to help you.
They will have a good laugh after you leave, but that is all in good fun!

I don't mean to offend but most of the time women and engines don't mix ,,,lol ,,,,,,The pipe you are talking about is the port for the metal dip stick that is used to check the oil level in the engine ,,,, On the end of the dip stick are markings that indicate the level of oil in the engine ,,,,, If the engine is low on oil and you need to put more in then look for a round cap type affair on one of the valve covers ,,,,,Most of the time it is marked or labeled OIL ,,,, You simply unscrew this cap and pour the oil into that opening where the cap was and then make sure to replace the cap securely before starting the engine ,,,,, Not securing the cap could result in motor oil spewing out while the engine is running and making a mess all over in the engine well and lowering your level in the engine again,,,,, You can also place a funnel in the hole where the oil cap goes and pour the oil in the funnel ,,,, This saves getting motor oil all over the engine,,,,,, Other wise you could take the car to a service center and have someone explain to you and show you how to do it ,,,,,

Depending on the make of your car there should be a cap with an oil can or the world oil on it somewhere in the engine compartment, it is almost always a black cap with yellow writing. do not over fill it that will cause problems also.

You can get the oil changed for almost as little as a couple quarts of oil. Wal-Mart does it for $12.00 a lot of places, and if you look in your local newspaper, you'll see ads for "Lube and Tune" shops competing against each other's prices. It doesn't cost much, but buys you peace of mind, knowing everything's done right.

On the top of the engine there's a black screw on/off cap.You can't miss it,they usually say oil on them,it goes there.
Or do what the lady suggested above me and go to a shop. They won't charge you,and believe it or not a lot of people don't know.
Good luck
