yes, if you go to they're site it will give you a 60 day trial download, but if you want a generic photo editor for free click the link below, they have all sorts of image editors available for free download, no gimmicks. i have been and still do use the "brush" editor they have linked to, it's a VERY good program if you don't mind it not being EXACTLY like photoshop.

For your information. Yes, there are some ways to get it FREE (find it yourself)

but it is not supported, neither recommended by me too
I'm a software programmer too and I'm against the PIRACY
Should I tell you that piracy is illegal???
If Nobody buys such a great software, then nobody is going to develope such softwares in future....understand???

Apart from that Adobe provides a FREE 30-day Trial of Photoshop

you can get it here:
https://www.adobe.com/cfusion/tdrc/index.cfm?product=photoshop&loc=en

Hope you'll understand the purpose....

My sister was able to download it free off the net. The company supoosedly was letting people download it free to see what the response would be. It had a good one and now they charge for it. This is what she told me and she has been using it for a while now.

The "starter" edition is at http://www.adobe.com/products/photoshopalbum/starter.html The full version needs cash.
"Photoshop Album Starter Edition 3.0 is not a time-limited or photo-limited download. It provides basic functionality to get you started viewing, fixing and sharing your digital photos."
You can get the full version for a trial before they ask for a credit card.
