my best friend and I like the same guy. i was about to ask him out when i found out she likes him too..... i went through a lot of trouble to try and ask him out... should i askhim out anyway?

My best friend has been friends w/thid guy since kindergarden and has liked him almost as long! that's like, 10years at least! (dont really know, dont feel like math right now...)
I just know I'd feel kinda guilty if i asked him out, but I REALLY like him! AAAAAHHH!

Talk to the best friend first. Maybe she doesn't like him as much as you think she does, or maybe she will be ok with him picking which one he would rather go out with. If she IS your best friend and knows you like him too, she too won't want to ruin a friendship over a guy. Unless you think you will be with him forever, it is not worth losing a friend over.

Has your friend asked him out? If no then go for it. If yes then you should bow out. But...when you look at it long term you and your best friend probably wont be friends in 10 years and that guy will be long gone so it really doesn't matter what you do.

well what is more important to you, friends or guys. that is what you need to decide for yourself. if you like guys better, then go for the guy. remember that after the guy is gone all you have is a friend. i suggest you think about it before you act to fast on it. see what the future will have in store for you if that guy dumps you or he is a jerk.
