My brother and I used to spend the summers with my great aunt and uncle. I always got to help my aunt cook and my brother helped my uncle out in the garage. After dinner they would take us for ice cream, and we would go for a long walk and watch the sun set. We spent the evenings around their kitchen table playing cards, hour after hour, and when we were finished we would watch Hee Haw. I miss those days.

My church was large and had a big youth group wich my father was in charge of so I got to go to all the outings and things. The thing I liked most was all the older girls used to just spoil me rotten and loved me. I acted like I did not like it but I loved the attention and all the kissing and sweetness. Man I wish I was young again!!

Staying at my grandma's domicile whilst i grew to become right into a lil baby. She lived in a 'lil domicile interior the mountains of East Tennessee. She had a old wood heated kitchen range and each morning at breakfast time me and my cousin Susie used to sit down in the back of it and look ahead to breakfast. The smells have been heavenly...a mixture of wood smoke/sausage/eggs/Sir Francis Bacon/grits/pancakes and we could precise it off with juice. She knew a thank you to place a feed on. Then we could pass sit down out on the porch looking down the mountain in front of her domicile to the line. whilst a automobile/truck could pass by way of it might create a breeze that traveled up the mountain and gently blowed over us. That grew to become into over 35 years in the past, she's handed on now a number of years yet, i will close my eyes and undergo in ideas it like it grew to become into the day merely before this. If i ought to ever pass lower back in time i could pass lower back to then. that's my fondest formative years memory.

well... there are many, but one of my favorites:
my brother is 9 years older than me, so when he was a junior in high school playing varsity football, i was 8. i remember that our team won against our rivals in FCIACs (county championship), we all ran out onto the field, and he picked me up, spun me around and held me up next to him so i would "look tall" while my mom took a photo.-- that's probably one of my favorite photos to this day.
