the hose in my car looks very different from anything I have been able to find on-line. I find straight hoses and mine is almost Y shaped.

You aren't going to find much of an accurate illustration on-line unless you subscribe to either a professional parts locator (like the professional shops use) or a professional repair database (again, like the professionals use)
T actually see an illustration, it would be best to go to a QUALITY parts store and ask to see their BUYER'S GUIDE for the part number listed for your year, make, model and engine compliment.
