Age is just a number and thirteen years is very little in the grand scheme of things. I think that we have been told by society what will work and what won't. If we stop worrying about what is proper and what isn't we are able to truly savour the minute and thus enjoy the relationship more.

I think it can work, but age is not just a number of course -- it's an age. Still, the people are never compatible because they are the same age. Who ever told you "We are right for each other because we are the same age." and then gave a big happy smile? It doesn't happen. We love people for whom they are.

age is just a number. It depends if you are both on the same page so to speak. If you and he have similar interests and can really talk to one another. If mentally is feels like you guys are the same age and have enough in common, I think it can work out.

13 years is like WAY ok 25 is cutoff i always heard (unless u really love them) and if u really do love them age is jsut a number and who cares if theres a 50 year difference still go for (OK that would be a little wrong but hey the ppl today who knows!!) so if that person is the older or younger one still go for it!!!!

Depends on the maturity level of the woman. If she acts like a child he'll be forced to act like a father. My husband is 20 years older and were fine.

Why not? My dad was nearly 11 years older than my mom and they were married for more than 38 years before he passed away. Go for it. You may never get another chance since we know not what the future holds.

No it cant work!!! The Man will always act like your father and treat you like a child... And the woman will always feel she should be more mature... 5 yrs difference is ideal....

yes it can possibly work for you'll.it can for anyone.i am 17 and my soon to be husband is 24 fixin to be 25 years old and it is workin but we argue alot.yes it can work we have been together for a year now so hope it works for the both of us good luck hun

i truly believe that age is just a # but i think it depens on the age like is she 13 and your 26? or all both of you at leagle age? then i think it should be fine
