Yes, I think the press is just doing a better job of reporting the news. years ago the nationlal news would not get all the details on things happening the way they do now. Satellites beam news in a flash where before it had to be phoned in then double checked for accuracy before they would mention it. Plus, I fear that when wackos hear about stuff in the news they imitate it. How else do you explain that the school shootings all happened so close together?
There is an attitude of fear being promoted too so that more stringent "safety" policies can be implemented. There are some in government who want to know every move we make.

The only reason you all dont feel safe is because you don't know what it takes to secure this country...of ours. This is my country! and I feel safe here. Would you feel safe in say, Africa where tribal wars are at work and people are getting killed all the time, or mabey you would like to go for a stroll in Faluja or in Damascus, or possibly hang out in Columbia where the Cartels are. If thats not enough then lets jet to the orient and mingle with the Triads...Nastyest Orientals you will ever meet. SO with all our problems and faults America is safer than you think. The men and women who work day and night to stop someone from nuking the city you live in, where you work and provide for your selves and your families are in high regard in my eyes.
I took the oath twice in my life to defend this free land of ours and I did. If you think like a communist than you will act like one if they ever try a Red Dawn Number on us. You will let them in. I will use what I go to get what I need...my freedom.

Not 100%. Just the other day, I heard a plane flying , what seemed like very low, I got nervous for a bit, until the noise went away.

No because too much is going on and the government swears they are asking people how they feel. I wonder who they are asking. No ones asked me. I really am starting to hate this country. We need a new government.

School shootings, gang warfare, police brutality, collapsing bridges, and other prominent disasters have all happened in the last month. It's scary enough without the spectre of Osama peeing on my begonias, so no........don't but never really did......
