I believe we all must have self control. I can't imagine what it would be like in the world if everyone were to do whatever they wanted. It's bad enough now with people killing innocent people and acting out depravities on children and women and just doing whatever they want it seems. It's got to change or we will end it in time. God won't allow this to continue, I believe He will see the wickedness in the hearts of men and when He sees that we aren't going to change he will allow us to end it all. He created the earth with enough of everything for everyone to live on it in comfort and peace but The Love of Money....not money, but the Love of it is the written word, or shall we say greed, has brought us to a place that we may never turn back from. I hope not. But, something has to change.
good night.

Dealing with the question you pose at the top.. about self control. It depends on the situation for me. If you are at a job site, self control is wise. If it is one on one with a friend .. then let it all out . Doesn't mean you have to clobber each other. Good Luck ! :)

Who's the we in these questions? Politicians started the war not me or we. My son is in this war. He didn't start it. I hate the war but support the troops for they are doing what they are told to. I know some of them no longer believe in this war. So please, not being rude but don't say we. I am my own person and don't believe there is anything to stop this EVE OF DESTRUCTION.

If you truly do what feels right, then I would say you have mastered self control. They shouldn't be looked at as separate characteristics. When you do what feels right (truly), you have self control, and visa versa. The one produces and makes possible the other.

Unfortunately, I think humans will self-destruct..... the earth has been around for centuries and we now have enough power to blow ourselves up...... so sad for humanity.....
Or.... you can take George Carlins atttitude...... "One day the Earth will shake us off like a dog with fleas."....

Confused by your second sentence. It is fatalistic but we are rushing headlong into the pit. Hope someone can stop the inevitable.
