I would have died if my parents had named me APPLE.

That's an interesting question. There must be a certain common psychology to it. It might be due to the fact that most of them live on the west coast. But I wonder if it has anything to do with the fact that the parents naturally stand out in the crowd, & so they give their kids unusual names that will cause them to stand out as well.
Only a few of the celebrity offspring with weird names keep them after reaching adulthood.

I think they just want their children to have rare names so they wont be mistaken for others. plus giving their kids weird names will draw more attention to them too. But it's not only celebs.. I know plenty of plain ol people who name their kids really odd names as well.. I would'nt give my kid a common name.... So I really don't blame em.

Maybe celebrities get tired of people trying to be like them so they give their kids odd names that regular people would never want to use so at least that won't be copied.

Celebrities want you to remember their kids' names, and if it's something totally insane like APPLE or something like that lol, then it's pretty much impossible to forget! Poor kids...

If a person has millions they basically can get away with anything they want. I think the bizzare names are giving because the celebrities are basically on crack.
