What do I do now? I typed in my ip adress in the adress bar and it gives me dozens of ip adresses. I don't know if one of them is gonna be mine or what.

Ex: ##.###.#.### (then after the last #)

##.###.#.###. 500 or 800 or 643 or whatever.
End of example.

I can't find one without the extra numbers. I have been waiting to host this game to let other people join for two days now, but can't until my problem is fix which I'm asking for help. I don't know which one is mine.

What I'm trying to say I've done all that, its just there is a fifth set of numbers after the last three.

To find out your current IP address do the following:

1. Click on "Start" then "run".
2. In the run command box type "cmd", this will bring up a command window.
3. Now, type this without the quotes of course ;) "ipconfig /all" and hit enter.
4. You will now see all active connections on your computer and the IP address.

Your "Physical Address" is the MAC address of your network card. Your "IP Address" is the address of your machine and the "Default Gateway" is the IP address of your Router.

Go into your router (i am asuming you have a router) and look for the gateway or WAN address. That will be your IP address. If you need to know your LAN address go to Start> Run> cmd and type ipconfig
The IP starting with 192.168.1.xxx will be your local area network address. You will need to port forward your router to allow others to access you computer.

Hi. I'm pretty sure the last ### is your port number. Maybe someone else can confirm. Your 4 number IP address should be unique.
