I found some info on Apple's support site about this here...http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=300432
You can set up 2 separate accounts on your PC or just create separate playlists in iTunes. I share my Mac with my brother and that's what we do. The music library holds both mine and his music but I duplicate mine to a separate playlist so I can go to just my stuff. Plus, I can still check out his when I want to. Here's some info about creating new playlists http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=93045
If you do that, one thing I would definately do is make sure you set iTunes for both iPods to manage music manually. Otherwise iTunes will try to sync the connected iPod with the entire music library (and that would be a giagantic headache, right?) Here's info about that too...http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=6114
I know this is alot of stuff (and links!) but I think this will help you decide how best to manage your and your families music.

you should have 2 computers
If you have only 1 computer, set up the users, make 2 different users for your computer and use the 2 users like they're 2 seperated computers
For WindowsXP: Start>Control Pannel>User Accounts>(try creat a new one)
For other OS: No idea, sorry

I don't think is possible to create another library. So why don't you create another Windows account? I think that is the solution, that way the new account should have a different iTunes and there won't be any mix-ups.

Good Luck.

If you are using Windows XP you can create different user accounts for each member of your family to use. When you have different accounts you can set your own personal settings. Once you create a new account and download iTunes and it should work.
