You need to provide more information on your hardware and setup. Do you get an image our are you only hearing beeps from the motherboard. If you are just getting a flicker, it may not actually be getting past POST. Go to the motherboard manufactuer's website and it will tell you how to interprite the beeps from the mboard.

I would check the pin alignment on the hard drives, make sure that you do have the proper jumper settings on the hard drive (master, slave, cable select) and other drives I would also check the seating of the video card and make sure that your video cable is connected correctly and that the memory is in the right slot and you have the right amount (some motherboards require in pairs, many new ones do not). If you are able to see what is going on, let us know what is coming up on the screen. Ususally there will be a bois message.

Check your power cords, make sure everthing is seated well inside the tower. Check for bent pins, placement and driver compatibilty. No pinched cords etc. After that reboot and see if anything changes. It sounds like you have a couple of loose items. CPU may not be understanding what BIOS is looking for because of a loose line or power cord. Good luck.
