My question for you; what is happening in-between those feelings you are describing?
eg: I had a friend phone me and offer to buy me lunch. At lunch my friend told me they had won some money in the lottery and were giving me $1000... cool. ( one day i'll be nice and happy ) .

At the mall someone took my parking stall then proceeded to flip me the bird. At the mall I needed to use the bathroom only to realize after finishing my #2 that there was no T.P. (the next day i feel like taking a blunt object and beating people).

Christmas is only three days away and I haven't finished all my shopping. I have to go to the mall. Will I finish my shopping? Will there be enough parking? More importantly will there be enough T.P. (other days i feel extreme anxiety and i'll cry, for a long time).

I started to think about Christmas past and all the fun during the holiday season. The food, friends, family and the gifts. (until i get very optimistic and up-beat).

Your not crazy. Your brain is full of experiences, both good and bad and big and small. You may not consciously know why you are having such highs and lows but your unconscious knows.

Could be your present situation. Changes in your life, or to many that is hard to deal with so much. But, I know the feeling somewhat. People can really be a pain. But, you just have to let go of what you have no control over and work on the things that you have control over. Look in your local phone book under counseling or mental health and call and make an appointment. You would have taken a positive step. I believe it's those who blame everyone else for their problems need more help. And those who question their sanity are more sane than the other group. And their is nothing wrong with that. It's the best thing that you can do for yourself and you would happier knowning that you took a step to feel better. Actually you already have by asking the question! Good Luck and God Bless.

You sound like you have bi-polar disorder. One minute you may feel like you have all the energy in the world and are sooo happy and the next.... you are soo down and want to stay in bed for days and never get out of your PJ's or take a shower. A psychiatrist can give you many things to straighten this out. I have a little nephew with this. He takes lithium. He wants to go fishing one minute and the next minute he wants to cut the little fish into pieces and he's crying. When he's on his meds he's a normal boy. Go see a psychiatrist. You will feel sooo much better!

You are not crazy, but you need to see a Doctor as soon as possible. You could have an imbalance of your brain, causing your mood swings. There is excellent medication available, you must take it daily and once you feel better, don't stop your medication or you be right back where you started. Hang in there, your problem can be solved with good medical care.

It sounds like you're stressed out...however, if it's been going on for awhile, what would it hurt to see a Dr.? You do describe some symptoms of bi polar disorder, my mother has it, and with treatment is quite manageable. And there are days when I feel like smacking certain people around too, stress is normal. But you sound worried and a visit with your Dr. would be your best course. GOOD LUCK!!

it sounds like depression, that is chemical imbalance. Get a doctor's opinion to rule out any physical problems, or you might need to see a mental health professional. And no, you are not going crazy. I started to see one, about 30 yrs ago, because i realized that if i was crazy, i could not tell the difference.

Sounds like bi-polar disorder to me. That doesn't mean you're crazy, you just need a little medication. Anyway, truly crazy people don't think they're crazy!
