Not only you didn't mention what type of job and your background, you also didn't mention which subsidiary of IBM.

My suggestion is to go to www.vault.com and do some research of your own. The web site has message boards, salary survey (http://www.vault.com/companies/company_main.jsp?product_id=1383&co_page=13&type=salary, http://www.vault.com/companies/company_main.jsp?co_page=13&type=salary&product_id=861 ) and other information left by current and formal employees.

Best wishes.

Depends a lot on what you bring to the table ..... doesn't it?

Large companies usually pay within a range....that's why if you want to make money, you find sparetime to build a business of your own...'cause then you set the remuneration schedule.

Right?
