No, tiger barbs are egg scatterers. Meaning, the female Scatters the eggs around the bottom of the tank as the male follows fertilizing them. I'f your trying to breed them, a tank with a layer of glass marbles on the bottom is best, that way the eggs will be out of reach to the parents.

no tiger barbs lay eggs but if u want to breed them it easy when the female is pregnant put the male and female in a tank where there isn't any fish,they will lay their eggs and then u can take the fish out and put them in the tank with all the rest of the fish
leave the eggs in the other tank until they are a week old but if u put them in to soon the other fish will eat them.
