Corporate governance is the latest hot button. Corporate boards back dating stock options (in one case for a dead guy) and the Dick Grasso pay package has ensnared numerous high profile people and corporations like United Health and Home Depot.
The latest news centers on the NY Supreme Court putting the slap down in Grasso (he'll like have to return close to $100mm) and the fact that of the 120 companies that have been implicated in the back dating scandal 40% or more share at least 1 board member. Ken Langone (founder of HD) is seen by some as a key player in both the Grasso pay package and options scandals.
Try the news search in Yahoo or Google and look for Options Backdating.
