I really feel for you. I had a similar situation in gradeschool. Three of us were friends in 7th grade. You know how the saying goes, "Three is a crowd?" Well, one of us 3 was new to the school. She started a rumor amongst us saying that the other called me a *****! It was weird, coz she told me this during lunch period (we had a choice to stay for lunch or go home-she normally went home, but this time, as if planned, she stayed for lunch). Then all through the lunch period before classes resumed, she said that we should ignored the said betrayor of our group. Unfortunately for me, she ended up "stealing" the other friend I had a good relationship with and then the two of them started to ignore me. It was good that you approached your friend. I was too downtrodden to even speak. I was very depressed the last 2 years of gradeschool....Time heals wounds. Years later, I think she realized what she had done....We started a new friendship and now I'm the godmother of her youngest daughter....Not to say a happy ending might come of your situation, but I am hoping for the best. Good luck with how you deal with the situation. Things happen for a reason I suppose. I guess what I learned is that one should never take a friend for granted. And I hope your friend will learn the same!

I can kind of relate to what you are talkin about, because my best friend does the same thing to me except, she does it with her boyfriend. Really the only thing I can tell you to do is when you're by yourself that's the time to sit down and talk to her. Tell her how you feel and ask her why she doesn't listen to you when you're trying to tell her things that are really bothering you.But if that doesn't work then maybe ya'll friendship wasn't meant to be.

you have the choice of loosing your 9th grade friend, if you do the her or me thing, so I suggest that you start making a bigger circle of friends, and remember next year is high school and that is a whole different world

Trust me- you must be positve thinker and be optimistic, because it is really possible that your friend may find another friend. The best thing to do is make friend with your friend's friend. don't hate! Be friendly so that the 3 of you will be happy together without any jealous and envy matter....

That is really rude of that one girl to do to you. You didn't even do anything to her. I think she is probably jealous.
