Raw honesty - political correctness is nothing more than deception, manipulation, and lies. Trust is the foundation of every human interaction. Without trust, you cannot build a healthy relationship of any kind.

I perfer raw honesty. It's really hard to tell the truth if your worried about being PC or hurting feelings. However that's not to be confused with being flat out mean and hateful!

There are some people on here who really piss me off and I let them have it. Then there are other people who I think are just misguided so I still tell them exactly what I think, but I try to make it more palatable so they might actually consider thinking about it. A lot of times that's the key to really being heard. Believe me I spent several years as a bill collector so I've perfected telling people stuff they don't want to hear in a way that they will accept. If you just piss people off you won't accomplish anything. There is a middle ground so you can have both.

good question. I value honesty more but I can see how the whole political correct thing influences alot of people.....just look at all the "supposed" changes in thinking over the last 20 years (American society) I'm referring to..........20 years ago things were alot different and it's hard for people to realize it unless they were here......just like it would be hard for me to realize how it was 80 years ago. The problem is....and I don't exclude myself....it takes alot of balls to be honest and speak from your gut/heart at the risk of being alienated/rejected by the politically correct.

I value raw honesty. But it must also be constructive. I don't like to be bashed and abused. I give others the same respect.

no way!!! why sugarcoat something just to make yourself or someone else feel good, i mean after all isn't that why someone would ask for an opinion, is to get the truth, besides if they really think about regardless of what anyone says usually somewhere within you know the truth it's just whether or not you want to admit whatever it may be. what about you?

I don't really respect "political correctness"; I think the truth is always better, but, being truthful doesn't mean you have to be nasty about it. I try to be diplomatic, when dealing with what may be 'delicate' questions.

Not me!...I never learned the art of being subtle...I like the raw honest truth...I am blunt to the point of being rude...I have always seen it like this...truth hurts at times ....but a lie hurts more and much longer...

I admire bold truth. Not truth used as a bashing baseball bat. I do not hide anything but I do consider the other person when answering.

May GOD richly bless ya.
