I got a raise and want to celebrate with a pair of boots. What do you recommend for something classic. Something that will go with a lot of different outfits and be in style for some time to come. Please provide pictures if possible (links to websites etc)

Difficult question to answer.
Black is always a good start as it will match with many colours. For longevity choose a good leather. Knee high boots rarely go out of style. Heel styles come and go. Whereas thin stiletto heels are very in at present, a few years ago it was those heavy block heels (ugh!). Go for a thinnish heel, which will always be in style, but avoid a platform heel. Even if you like wearing 4" heels, if you want the boots to be ever-in-style, choose a lower heel, say 3". But remember that a low heel boot (or flatties) are in style as often as those with 5" heels. Flat boots always remind me of horse riders.
As for web sites, try a decent search engine and "high heeled boots"

Try Charles David. They make all different styles of boots from classic to sophisticated. Just make sure you do not look for a boot that is flashy. You will not want to wear the shoes more than once.

Baby phat has boots that are super hot and super stylin, there is no way you can go wrong with the sex appeal those boots throw off..they have heels as well as flats ankle to knee (i prefer knee) in hot colors an styles. plus they look good inany weather.

the shoe that hits the runway is the snowboots that everyone where they are the top shoes in the world i have a pair and honey i rock them up and down they have any stlye you want and even any color so try those
