I think I have excessive vaginal discharge. I told my mom, but she says its normal. But I doubt it. It's alot and I get it everyday. Sometimes it goes thru my pants, and that's why i always have to wear uncompfartable thick cotton underwear and I can't wear thongs because of this problem. Is it normal?

And no! I'm not cumming or have a yeast infection.

you need to go to visit a gynecologist for a pap test or just a general examination. they can help figure out what the problem is. it could be that you might have a mild discharge or it could be something else. don't worry, just take care of it.

in the meantime, you can read about it on web md & other such valid sites.

I am experiencing that same issue. I have had this problem for as long as I can remember. It's usually worse right before my period. I think that it may have something to do with hormone levels. I don't really know for sure though. I asked my gyno if I had a yeast infection and she said no. It is just a little bit embarrassing and I have to change my underwear twice a day. When I was in high school, I used to wear pantiliners every day so that my pants were not wet by the end of the day. I was so embarrassed because I would be sitting there for an hour in my desk and the warmer that it got, the more I detected an odor, but it seemed that nobody else could smell it. I have had 2 kids now and I still have the same problem. I think that some women just have an excess amount of discharge and that is normal for them. It wouldn't hurt to go and see an OBGYN just to be sure, especially if you have any other symptoms like burning or itching.

If there is no odor, itchiness, or pain, it is nothing to worry about. Some women produce more than others, and it is normal. Sometimes birth control pills can be the culprit, and sometimes they may help alleviate the problem. If you experience itching and odor, you could have a yeast infection, a bacterial infection, or an STD. In any case, it is worth going to see your doctor. I doubt you are in any danger, but you are obviously uncomfortable with the situation. Your doctor may be able to prescribe a low dose birth control pill that will adjust your hormonal balance enough to alleviate the problem.

If the discharge is a creamy consistency and is accompanied by itching, it's a yeast infection. This can be treated by over-the-counter products from a pharmacy. What you can do is to keep the area clean and dry, and wear cotton underwear so the skin can breathe. If you must, wear a pantyliner.

The answer to this depends on your age and where you are at in your sexual development. Have your ever had sex, including oral sex? I would recommend that you talk to a school nurse, your health care practitioner or go to the health department or local STD clinic just to be sure and give you piece of mind.

No its not normal.. show her.. let her see for herself.. sometimes moms tend to shy away from the daughters during teen years.. go to her and let her see for herself your discharge, also look for signs, smell, color (of the discharge) have her seek (depending on your age) a gyn doctor.

Its normal to have alittle bit,but to where it goes thru your pants..NO!
You should demand that your mom have you taken to a lady doctor for a "Check up".Tell her that it will make you feel better about it if she is right.

I don't think that is normal, because it goes through your pants. You need to get a papsmear esp. if u are sexually active

Some girls and women experience this from a reaction to certain kinds of fabrics. However...this isn't normal, you need to talk to your doctor right away.
