I'm a Republican...but I'm not racist or homophobic in any way. One of my best friends and a groomsman in my wedding is openly gay, another friend and groomsman is an African American, and many of my friends are a member of a minority. Sure I have lots of white friends but we aren't exclusive in our friendships with caucasians only.

I really think that liberalism through stereotyping has created a reverse racist demographic and one that is biased and prejudiced against whites.

I go to Church because I love God and believe in His love for all of us...regardless of political affiliation....why do Democrats go to church? For a different reason? Do they have Republican only and Democratic only churches? I haven't seen any.

You say that Republicans are selfish, close minded, and ignorant yet you are the one trying to lump everyone in to one group. How are your actions any better than those you wrongly accuse?

I second that (referring to other answerer's here, not the question/rant)! Learn how to type concisely, and keep your caps lock either on or off!

I personally consider myself an independent conservative, rather than a republican because I disagree with some of their ideology. Those republicans I do know however, DO NOT fit your description whatsoever! Republicans are all in favor of self fulfillment! The tools are already there in this society for anyone who is willing to use them, to gain whatever you want in life! Being a minority or female should not automatically entitle you to specific benefits from the government not currently provided to everyone!

As further proof against your claims, the current Republican presidential administration has placed far more minorities or women into well deserved positions of authority than any other president!

That statement is racist in itself. Have you forgotten that Abraham Lincoln was a Republican? Or should I say G.O.P. Do you even know who Abraham Lincoln was? Don't assume that everyone is racist just because they have different opinions than you do. And I have known for there to be quite a few racist democrats too. Racism is a problem for both parties. I hate racism. But the only ones who can change it are the bigots themselves. As far as Gay marriage is concerned: Marriage is to between a man and a woman. If you are a Christian and support Gay marriage, I would have to question which God you serve! cause it couldn't be Jesus Christ! Gay marriage is unacceptable and should never be made legal. To deny gay marriage is not racism! I don't know how people come up with that! I mean you can't tell the difference between racism and sodomy?

I no longer belong to the republican party , actually either party.
Let me answer your question about republicans being close minded or racists towards women and minorities. Affirmative action allows minorities to be given points when trying to get into law or medical school because they are minorities - not because of merit. If you were going to the doctor for cancer? or going to an attorney to keep you from going to prison - who would you want - one that was qualified or one that got that degree because they were a minority? If they got there due to their minority status then that should be on a certificate hanging on their wall - otherwise it is quite close minded to not tell that potential patient or defendant that they could be at risk.....

There are hetero phobic gays just like there are homo phobic straights...Gay couples that have been together for years can not receive retirement pensions if the other partner dies like married people can. They serve in the military, pay taxes...etc. If they were to try finding a different term for their relationship than marriage - they might have a chance at it. I know gay couples who have been together for years and are very conservative ..but they are perceived as militant because of the activists on television who are seen in gay parades or defaming straights.
Straight Republicans also place them in the same group with extremely liberal people that appear to have no values or slander
Christianity...

No I'm not a racist and I'm not closed minded. I'm a registered Republican but I've never voted a straight ticket. Cheap? I work full time as a RN. I make a decent living, but I'm not rich by any means. I'm not ignorant just because I have a different political opinion. That's a childish argument. Sounds like your teacher/professor is closed minded and ignorant.

Uh, you must have had a liberal Democrat teacher. Sweetie, I've been voting republican for 20 years now. Please do some more research and don't trust what your teachers tell you. I have found the Republican party to be much less oppressive in their policies than the Democrats. And if you knew the motivation behind the gay marriage movement then you'd probably reconsider your stance on it as well. Please do not take anyone's word for it though. Research both sides of the issues and see where each party stands. Ask local members of each party about their stance on issues that are most important to you. NEVER TRUST A TEACHER TO GIVE YOU THE TRUTH IN POLITICS. They always have their own agenda and will lie to persuade you to follow them blindly.

we are one month interior the Obama administration...... The Republican occasion might desire to attend till after the mid-words to compliment what path they choose to take. Sarah Palin, Mitt Romney, Bobby Jindal and Mike Huckabee have precisely same perspectives on generally each and everything as George W. Bush. If the GOP losses extra congressional seat in 2010 extra effective than probable they might desire to p.c.. some reasonable Republican that is not indexed. Too undesirable for GOP voters that Arnold can no longer run by way of fact i think of he might desire to overcome Obama. If Obama's approval numbers stay above 50 p.c. after the mid-words I doub't Bobby Jindal will run by way of fact that is perplexing to knock off a sitting president with 50 p.c. approval numbers. With Jindal being the # a million increasing famous individual interior the GOP i think of he might take his possibilities 2016.

Well, at least we can write grammatically correct sentences.

Republicans were the ones that voted in the equal rights legislation. It is the liberals (that includes most of the Democrats) who always point out the differences in people, that want to exploit those differences, and push minorities over the majority. Republicans feel that people should be pushed individually to excel on their own merits.

If you can formulate the rest of your insane rant in the form of clearly understandable questions, I and others, will be happen to answer it.

By the way, this is Yahoo Answers where you can get answers to questions, not post idiotic, ill-conceived, 15th century rants.

No, that is not true.
Many Republicans are against Affirmative Action, because they feel that it is discrimination.
They are not "cheap", they simply don't want their money going to people who aren't going to bother to help themselves.

Is this really what you're being taught in school? Sounds like your teacher is the selfish, close-minded, and ignorant one!
Remind your teacher that it was REPUBLICANS who helped fight for Civil Rights in the 60s. Also, remind him or her that Lincoln was a REPUBLICAN and he illegalized slavery!
No, sorry, your teacher has it all wrong. Study more, you'll see.

NO. I'm a Republican and I'm not racist and I'm very open minded. For instance, I can even answer questions from an obvious closed-minded bigot like yourself. PS, here's a clue: Next Time take the caps lock off before you get stoned on Paragoric and write a letter to Yahoo.
