The odds of catching your bird is much better if it is in your hand. Have you watched the new game show "Deal or no Deal"? It drives me crazy watching those idiots get offers of like $150,000 but they imagine the box they chose is 1 million so they keep on chancing it. Some of those idiots end up with like $50.00. I definitely say...take what's in your hand! Why do you think Vegas is so popular and raking in so much money? Greed..."if there is a chance for two birds...someone please take the one in my hand!"

No, but it's true that a bird {in} the hand is better than two in the bush.
This means that it is better to be holding one thing in your hand than two go searching for more that you may not get.
