Thanks Ladies for the info, we are all set - We decided to wait until Monday to call the nurse for a replacement patch - And i wish it was for just some good sex :) but she went on it as preparation for In Vitro for infertility reasons -

just explain the situation......i'm sure the doctor will be understanding. i wear my evra patch on my hip...more toward the front (i switch sides each week). i've tried other spots but this seems to be the most comfortable for me (i can also see it so i don't forget to change it). once you get the hang of it you will be fine. i haven't had any problems with the patch falling off, but i have heard some people complain of this. make sure the skin is clean and very dry (no lotion or oil) when you put it on. it can be kinda sticky so what i do is unpeel the back, stick it on and then peel away the package.....hope this helps....good luck

i think perhaps this is the wrong type of birth control for her. if it is that hard & that annoying to her, then you should discuss your other options.

i used the patch birth control & i never had problems with application. i stopped using it because i got tired of having a scummy patch on my body halfway through the week.

as for your actual question... a husband being that involved in birth control... GOOD FOR YOU! most guys don't really care that much & for you to help her is so sweet. call the pharmacy & ask what they can do for you. the main problem would be insurance covering more than your allowed amount within a certain time period. but, with propper phone calls from the pharmacist, you might be in luck. just be really nice to the pharmacist & if it is a woman, she will probably be very impressed with your involvement. if it is a guy, he will probably just want to help you get some. haha...

just, don't worry! it will be ok!

Talk to your pharmacist. Explain the trouble you are having. Some women clean the area with alcohol first. Then let dry before applying. It takes some getting used to the patch because it's like wearing a band-aid all the time.

i have had the patch before, and it also left me with scares which took very lengthy to vanish exspecially when you consider that I somewhat have darker pores and skin. yet i might want to signify attempting somthing else.i comprehend the patch is basic and also you may not in any respect ought to pressure bout forgeting to take it yet they do have somthing called nuva ring and it is inserted into the virgina by technique of you once each and each month.the patch will in basic terms go away your pores and skin scared in case you do not swap to somthing else.the nuva ring is unlike an iud its in the variety of a circle.in my opinion i does no longer advise an iud if u havent had a baby reason an iud may reason uterin scaring in case you capture a sexually transmited sickness. So i might want to definatly advise nuva ring.
