Well Mister,
I am drinking a Starbucks beverage and am having a lovely night. The only thing new in our Canadian news is how the Minister of Foreign Affairs called his ex (who is an MP) a dog. She is offended. Demands an apology.
Sorry that might not cheer you up. But at least it won't get you down because it is so ridiculous. Canadian politics, eh?

this is 15 hours after you asked your question, but it is currently 1:06 p.m. in Houston. It's raining...but that's nothing new because it's been raining non stop here for about the last 6 days. Something new going on would have to be an elementary school teacher in Houston was fired Thursday for having alcohol on campus, that's about it. Hope everything is well in the U.K.!

It's almost 12h30 here in New Brunswick Canada and like the lady from Maine-who isn't so far from us-I am listening to the rain and wind-so far no power outages.I read too about the foreign minister calling his ex a 'dog'-please!My husband is asleep as are our kids and dogs-I am definitely a 'nacht wolf'(night owl).Not a good idea to watch the news before bed-it makes us immune to human suffering or overwhelms us with our insignificance.Hope you manage to sleep well.bonne nuit!

Here in California USA. I live in the central valley, the middle of the state. Very Flat, lots of farm land...its quiet, and actually very nice outside. Im gettig ready to watch a movie and just finished eating a tortilla with melted cheddar cheese.

It's 7:45 and the night's still young. I'm hoping a cute guy calls me up and wants to hang out. I'm in Monterey, California. If nothing else, I'll stay up a little longer watching indie flicks.

you are right. the news is always negative. nothing going on in michigan it is 10:46 here. the tigers are in the world series. i don't follow that though. have a good sleep and wake up in the morning.
