Some random thoughts--
What makes you think you HAVE issues that need to be dealt with? Are you significantly different than the people you know? Are you not completing tasks that most other people seem to have no problem with?
If the answer is yes and you are a student, many schools have counseling offices that you might want to visit. Some businesses have such offices too, but I'd be a bit more wary of using them. Many HMOs have mental health coverage.

Your reference to "deep seated issues" sounds like you are referring to Freudian psychoanalysis, where the analyst tries to delve into your childhood to find the root of your problems. Many experts now doubt the effectiveness of such analysis, and try to solve a problem without going after a deeper meaning. For instance, if you have a fear of elevators, they work on training you to get over that fear.

Good luck.
