Misunderstood? No not likely! Persecuted, Yes! People who feel the don't have high intelligence does not want others to make them look ignorant, so they will insult and be very cruel to those who know they have the education! There are those who think that money makes them smarter than those who have none.

yes. High intelligence can also mean more of a potential for being eccentric. You understand certain things better and also feel compelled to explain them, and i think because of that people sometimes may be put off. To the highly intelligent, some things which they may see as common knowledge, others do not. All it really boils down to is human nature.

To look at me..intelligence is not evident..To know me...it may take a a bit to pinpoint..But to persecute me for being street-smart as well as book smart..is somewhat common.
