Take a computer course, learn how to work with Excel, Word, Power Point, and other Microsoft Office features. This will get you a job anywhere now days.

Start learning how to create income on the internet. Learning some html will be good, seo, copywriting (as in writing ads and headlines) and web design.
You don't have to wait till your retirement age either. Who knows, if you were to build a web business now, then you may be able to retire long before you are expecting to otherwise.
Sure it takes lots of work and time but the longer you wait to start anything, the longer it takes you to reach the goal.

Collectables, go to yard sales, flea markets, local auctions. learn whats hot and in demand, old and valuable. Most have fun while they do this, and pick up a crafting skill to make and repair odd things that people ooh and ahh over.

That's a subjective question, but my answer would be to learn how to communicate and let your personality shine through using nothing but text and a photo or two.
If you can do that, the Internet will be your goldmine.
