out me and you, or the so called american government? I'm so discusted with the other worlders defining me as something I'm not. I vote when I can, Which is almost on every little thing they throw at me, but only a computer could decifer half of the second liners, or additives they include on a bill, I believe it's time for a major change of those in office. I know I'm not the only one who feels this way, or am I.

There is a fine line between acting the role of world policeman, and actin the role of imperialist.

One could argue, why should we care about the middle-east? The fact is that they have oil, we need oil and it serves our interest to be there or calm things down there. That is very imperialistic of us.

On the other hand, our stated objective is to stabilize things and get out. Most countries do not believe that, and it deosn;t look like it will happen soon. We still have military bases all over the world, Germany, Spain, now Iraq...it does look a bit imperialistic.

As an American, I understand our interests t do this also.

whatever our leaders do , we are also defined by their actions...thus they believe we voted for them thus we are a part of the problem. So yes they mean ALL of us and that also means they want all of us dead in some parts of the world...(slowly becoming ManY parts of the world) and yes we are invading other countries, just as Communist russia,aka soviet union did way back in the mid 20th century when WE condemned them! Now we are doing the same@

Apparently you aren't observing what the other side has offered you, should they win. Increased taxation, cut and run from Iraq and the fight against terrorists... and that is just for starters.
