In Dec. 2005 i was 19 and almost homeless. Staying from house to house. I met a guy named Sam. I stayed at his house. He mentioned he liked me...at the time I had no feeling for him in that way. Eventually after staying a while, I thought well he's pretty well off..this could be a good way to escape all my drama. I know it was wrong but at the time I had no way out. After a while I grew to love him. He asked me to marry me and we got married this past July. After I found out that he was in the country illeagally. He swears that that is not the reason he is w/ me. Since the wedding he has not wanted to have sex or even be around me much. I know that in the beginning my heart was not there, but now it is. How can I find out his true intentions? I don't want to get hurt. Did he marry me because I was an easy target to keep him in this country?

Your own instincts are answering that question for you. In May of 2000 I married the man I fell in love with. I helped him come here & helped him get his citizenship. In less then a year our sex life went from hot, heavy & wonderful to nothing. We have had sex exactly 4 times in 2 years. The last 2 years he's been trying to convince me that he's just not into sex anymore.... I was having the same concerns you spoke of. I got my answer.... He got his citizenship in March & on May 8th, 3 days before our anniversary. Guess what Im too crazy for him & he wants a divorce. Now he & his family are threatening me & our daughter. Be careful. message me if you need to talk to someone. A woman's instincts are strong for a reason.

Take care

He doesn't want you for sex or companionship, apparently, so that leaves only the legal reason. Yes, he married you for only that reason, apparently. You've given your heart unwisely. You have to take it back, put whatever distance it takes between you to keep him away, and legally remedy the situation as soon as you can. Not sure whether you're guilty of the crime of an arranged marriage to evade immigration rules, so I'd act right away. Good luck.

Sure appears that way, since he doesn't want anything to do with you now.
