Are the medicines that we use in the U.S. made here or are they manufactured overseas or in Mexico? If they are in the U.S., where are they? I live in an area with quite a few manufacturing plants, but have never seen a pharmaceutical factory.

some medications are manufactured in the US while others are made in countries such as Austria, Germany, Sweden or Switzerland. go to webmd.com and medline.com as well as medlineplus.com for more info related.
