NH4Cl-IONIC BOND BETWEEN NH4+ AND Cl-
COVALENT BOND BETWEEN N AND H
CH2Cl2-ALL THE BONDS ARE COVALENT

CHCl2 is covalent
NH4Cl is ionic although it could be considered half and half.
The bonding between N and the Hs is covalent. The bonding with the Cl is ionic.

the first one has ionic (cation + anion) and the second covalent (non metal + non metal)
