yup, these days not just the gov, anyone who has a few bucks (even $10) or so also spying on us. I can just sort of feel it sometimes. Can't prove it though. Maybe we should test it. Maybe not. "There is no privacy" Larry Ellison, SUN pres

Think about what you are saying.

Are you suggesting that someone is collecting a file on you? Are you doing something to deserve it? If not, chill out. People in government have more to do (perhaps less) than spend time watching you.

Sure there are cameras watching things, sure there are increasing computer abilities to recognize faces and collect computer records. Does the government do this? Nope...but private industry does.

There are companies that a record for every person in the US and many in the world that purchase property, credit card info and web site statistics. It is quite a business to guess what you make, how many kids you have and how much you spend on mortgage, car and other stuff...and how much you make. They are ranges of guesses, but it focuses your junk mail, marketing and newspaper ads.

For your personal govermnent file...I wouldn;t count on it. The government (and the corporate guys) do watch the public a lot. Go to capitol hill and see the sniper huts on the roofs, the cameras all over and the cops that pull over panel vans that drive by. Yeah, they are watching...and they should. Get used to it. DO they identify and note that you are walking by...fat chance.

ust because you're paranoid doesn;t mean that someone isn'r out to get you.

The US government could have a camera in every home, car, and public location in the world... but would not have the time to watch them all. Until software catches up and has the ability to mine all that data, it's very little to worry about.

If you want a private moment, hide under the blankets for a few minutes. The fear isn't doing you any good.

I don't know if they are watching every move that we make, but I think they pay more attention then most people realize. They can tap into the Internet and phones already, they can be monitoring a lot if things, look at the things you have your SS# on, drivers license on, any type of license. I mean you almost need license and permits to do anything. I mean I have A SS card, Drivers License, Nursing license, my dogs have license, they want my cats to get licenses, Medical insurance cards, Credit cards, Discount cards, your cars VIN number, plate Number, Bank account numbers, 402K Numbers, I mean they all have my SS# attached to them so how hard would it be to track me, not hard I reckon,

This is happening in a lot of Western countries. It's especially sad to see it legalised in the US, where it is against the constitution.

I don't agree, however, that they have cameras everywhere. That sounds an awful lot like paranoia!

But on the flip side the huge volume of information makes it impossible to keep up. 300 mil people doing different actions all the time generates huge volumes of data. You would have to do something to throw yourself up on the radar.

Just relax and don't worry about it. Just moon your satellite photo from time to time, always make me feel better.

Why worry about it unless you have something to hide. You must be selling drugs or other illegal activity if you are so worried about it. They are after people looking to kill us ..... you should support that ..... they are only looking at International calls from certain countries.
