Yes and yes, some days it will be one after another(more so when the teeth are about to cut through)and other days they will be fine for a while. They also can run a temp, vomit, get dipper rash, and get the runs, ear infection, runny nose, all sorts of things.

My children were extremely cranky when teething. I figured out why when they each cut between 2-4 teeth at a time. It could be a cold or flu bug with the teething that's making the baby so agitated. I used baby oragel and a frozen washrag ( i wet the end of a wash rag and freeze it . the dry part of the rag helps to soak up the drool and water.) A nice vapor bath or the bed time bath usually calmed them down too. Good luck.

yes, some kids don't ever get cranky while others do. although this is a wives tale, i was told to put a egg non boiled in my infants sock and in the drawer in the back and he/she would not be cranky lol I did that for the first two that i had and they were not cranky lol but the last one I did not and he is cranky sometimes. I don't know if it really works, it could all be coincidental lol. I wish i had kept the egg in the drawer just in case. Maybe i will tonight lol he isn't too cranky though so i can't complain. you can get baby orajel to assist you baby

At three and a half months, Lucy liked to chew on her hands and drool. Her favorite activity was sucking on her fists for a good part of the day. At least all of Auntie Jane's bibs came in handy! Sometimes Lucy would begin with a very discreet chewing, which gradually escalated into an all-out kicking and crying frenzy. The next-door neighbor knew somebody who'd had a baby, and confidently diagnosed Lucy's fits as "teething episodes," but we looked all over her mouth and couldn't find any teeth at all. Daddy went to the drugstore and brought back a local anesthetic gel, homeopathic tablets, teething rings, and even pain medication. Lucy tried them all, but in the end she just went back to chewing on her fists.

some babies can be cranky everyday, my neice was, thankfully for me, my daughter hasn't had any trouble so far. so if your child is extremely cranky, don't worry it's normal, administer tylenol(consult your doctor as to how much) and get some baby oragel. good luck on this stage. also you can give your child frozen egos that's what my sisters always did with their kids.

With my twin girls, it is an on again and off again event. Right now, it is off again. But they are drooling and blowing raspberries a lot. The bubbles must feel good on their gums and incoming teeth.
So, yes, crankiness is apart with my twins and they are always rubbing their eyes like they are tired. So, after an hour or two of playing and crawling, I put them down for a nap..
Hope this helps you.. :-)

here's something to get you through, they are all natural products and can be found at a natural food store and or online. they are so worth it! I didn't have anything near the problems of a teething baby as all other mommies have said they had.
Baby Bliss Gripe water (helps baby take bottle and calm down)
Hyland's Colic tablets (helps with fussie and or gassie baby)
Hyland's teething tablets (better if it hurts the baby when applying teething gel)
Hyland's teething gel

your baby is in pain. other than getting really hurt by a bump or fall, teething was the most heart wrenching thing to watch. It hurts. you can help your baby be allowing him/her to suck on a CLEAN damp frozen washcloth or cold teething ring. You can resort to tylenol for the pain. I know I did many times. Usually they like to suck on something when they teethe. A soother perhaps?
I pray that this passes soon for you - I know what you are going through

Yes very normal. They feel pain and it irritates them, just like small children get irritated during teething (for permanent teeth).
Don't worry about it, you may seemed concerned but it is a normal worry of parents.

Whenever their teeth are hurting! Give them some orajel at night and during the day and it'll help with sleep and naps. I have one that's teething right now.
